Experience the thrill of the wild with our Ingwe Tour! This unique itinerary takes you to the Northern heart of the country, where the bush beckons. Search for the fabled Ingwe (leopard) and the iconic Big 5 in their natural habitat. Each day promises adventure, excitement, and the beauty of nature that will leave you captivated long after your journey ends.

Itinerary

Days 1 & 2: Waterberg

Upon arrival in Johannesburg you collect your rental car and drive about 3 hours to the Waterberg biosphere. Your tented camp has the big Big 5 you can already enjoy some great game viewing and stunning views of the spectacular landscapes around the reserve.

Your lodge lies in the bush and between the game drives you can treat yourself with some wellness or the culinary highlights that your lodge offers or simply relax before some more exhausing days in the bush.

Days 3, 4, 5 & 6: Hoedspruit

After the morning safari or bush walk it is time to move on to the next destination which will be Hoedspruit. It is roughly 4 hours drive with many possibilities to make stops en-route. You will stay for three nights in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Restaurants and Shops in Town are a leisurely 10 minutes drive away.

During your stay you can book bicycle ride, quad biking, Moholoholo, Endangered Species Centre or a Blyde Dam cruise. We will be happy to assist with the booking.

Days 7, 8, 9 & 10: Balule

After 4 nights in the Wildlife Estate and the first animal sightings you will have had it is time to go deeper into the bush. Since it only is a casual 30 minutes drive you can plan an activity for the morning or just rest at the pool. Around 2 pm you will be awaited at your stunning lodge where everything will be catered for. You will have 2 guided game drives a day and all meals are included so nothing to worry about and lots to enjoy!

On day 10 and after the morning safari you drive back to Hoedspruit and reach Eastgate airport where you will drop off your car and fly back to Johannesburg and onwards back home. Tot ziens and ngizokubona!
