Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a driver awaits you with a name sheet and welcomes you. Transfer to your accommodation for the night.
Day 2: Nairobi
Day at your free disposal, we will be more than happy to assist in booking a guided day tour to one of the many stunning sites nearby.
Day 3: Nairobi
At 10 am, transfer from your accommodation to Oloolua Nature Trail where you go for a walk before then the driver brings you to your hotel for the upcoming night. Other activities can also be included.
Day 4: Nairobi National Park
After breakfast, your safari driver picks you up at 7.30 am (time is flexible if you want to start earlier or later) from the reception. Drive a short distance to Nairobi National Park and observe rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes and much more wildlife against the backdrop of the city. Have a picnic lunch in the park. Once you have seen enough, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight (B/L/D).
Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Masai Mara with a stop at Narok. Game drive en route on the way to the camp to spot the first big herds of wildebeest, lions and topis. Check in for lunch and relax a bit. Afternoon game drive along the Mara River to watch hippos and crocodiles, and you might spot a river crossing.
Days 6 & 7 : Masai Mara Game Reserve
Discuss the itinerary for these two days with your driver according to what you want to see and where lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and the herds of wildebeest are possibly to be found. With good luck, you will be able to witness a river crossing at the Mara River (B/L/D).
Day 8: Mara Triangle
Early morning game drive. Then return to the camp for breakfast, before you check out and do a game drive en route to the Mara Triangle. Arrive at your camp on the Siria Escarpment and enjoy the view and the hospitality of the staff. After lunch, relax a bit at the heated pool before you go for an afternoon game drive until sunset.
Days 9 & 10: Mara Triangle
Decide together with your driver when to go on game drives and where to take your meals. You will have more chances to watch a river crossing and see a hunt (B/L/D).
Day 11: Back Home
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi. Drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home!
