Day 1 - Kwa Nokeng

Upon arrival at the airport you make your way to the car rental terminal to collect you rental car which is a 2x4 with high ground clearance which will be an advantage on the road. You will not waste any time and leave the busy airport and drive straight up North where you will cross the border into Botswana and arrive roughly 5 hours later in Kwa Nokeng.

Over here you will spend your first night in a comfortable tented room to get you accustomed to the sounds of nature.

Day 2 - Nata

Today you will make your way north into Botswana and in another quite long drive of about 5 1/2 hours you arrive in Nata where you spend the night.

The Makgadikgadi Pans are close by, so if you leave Kwanokeng early, you could visit the Park in the afternoon to enjoy the unspoilt nature and to see some of the Flamingos which populate the Nata side of the pans. You overnight in a glamping tent.

Days 3, 4 & 5 - Chobe

Right against the borders with Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia meanders Chobe River, famous for its large elephant populations and Chobe National Park. From the lodge you can self-drive into the park or join one of the guided game drives and boat cruises offering you perspectives from both land and water and both guaranteeing fantastic sightings.

You are not allowed to take your rental car into Zimbabwe but the Victoria Falls is only 80 km away and the lodge offers day trips to this famous town and magnificent falls.

Day 6 - Kwando

Heading west into Namibia, you stick to the riverine areas. On the eastern side of the famous Caprivi Strip you will find your Lodge on Kwando River.

Your room has sweeping views of the river but you would still be wise to book one of their boat cruises.

Day 7 - Divundu

You may think you will have seen enough riverine areas but Divundu on the great Okavango River in the western section of the Caprivi will prove to be something different still.

The Okavango runs south into the great Okavango Delta, a source of life to many animals and known for a great variety of wildlife. There truly is something magical about this region.

Day 8 - Maun

Leaving Caprivi you cross back into Botswana and you make your way along the western edge of the Okavango Delta towards Maun known to be the safari capital of Botswana.

The town itself offers restaurant, shopping possibilities but also spas and other facilities to take a rest from the exciting last days and before the even more exciting days ahead of you!

Days 9, 10 & 11 - Moremi

Moremi Game Reserve forms about a third of the Okavango Delta and a safari here is truly a must. Moremi is well known for it excellent game viewing and will offer you a true wilderness experience. But that is not all, since Moremi is so big you will need to be flown to you accommodation which will be a luxury camp with all activities and meals included.

Since availability is limited we will not choose one fixed camp but stay flexible in order to get you the best experience at all times.

Day 12 - Gweta

You would typically return from your Moremi Safari around lunch time and so there are not too many hours left to drive that day.

Gweta Lodge is the perfect overnight and is very close to Makgadikgadi and Nxai Pans in case you did not have time from Nata Lodge.

Day 13 - Khama

Botswana is well-known for its vast wilderness areas, high density of wild animal populations and its incredible biodiversity but the only animal that people often do not get to see is the Rhinoceros.

An animal under threat all over Africa through poaching, the Khama Rhino Sanctuary offers a safe environment for both Black and White Rhino's amongst other animals. You can self-drive or book a guided game drive.

Days 14, 15 & 16 - Bushwa

Since you spent a lot of time on the road the last destination is one where you will be spoilt. All safaris and meals are included so you can really rest and enjoy before you head home.
