Days 1 to 4 - Cape Town

Upon arrival in Cape Town you collect your rental car and drive about 45 minutes to our accommodation in Camps Bay which lies below the famous 12 apostle mountains on the backside of table mountain.

You will spend your first 3 nights over here with breakfast included which leaves you enough time to explore the city itself or take drives to the famous penguins in Simon's Town, walk up (or take the cable car!) Table Mountain or explore the Cape Peninsula and Cape of Good Hope.

Days 5 & 6 - Franschhoek

From the Cape Peninsula it is only about an hour's drive into the Winelands, and your accommodation in Franschoek is renowned for their wines and incredible kitchen.

If you book early enough you can also overnight here in one of their suites or in their 5 star Manor House. A few short drives can take you to neighbouring wine farms for more wine tasting! Or enjoy a guided wine maker tour or the legendary wine tram, it is all up to you.

Day 7 - Gansbaai

The drive from the Winelands along the coast to Gansbaai is spectacular, and if you are keen on doing a Great White Shark Diving experience, this is the place to do it (you would need to pre-book this and leave very early to get there in time). At your guesthouse you can oversee the Ocean, so if you are there at the right time of year, you may be able to spot the whales.

Days 8 & 9 - Gondwana

After a few days on the coast it is time to do some game viewing. Even thought the cape is not most famous for its game viewing you nonetheless have Big 5 game reserves.

You will be in the Gondwana Game Reserve for the next 2 nights with all meals and 2 guided safaris a day included. Make sure you have your camera ready!

Days 10 & 11 - Knysna

It is only a short drive to Knysna with its stunning blue lagoon also known as the jewel of the garden route and you can enjoy your morning safari and breakfast before you set off.

In Knysna you will spend 2 days to take some of the stunning walks, a beautiful boat ride, eat out in the numerous restaurants, you name it!

If you're lucky you will be able to see whales and dolphins, but if not you will also truly enjoy the massive waves breaking on the rocky coast, the many Rock Dassies dozing on the grassy lawns, or perhaps you will spot a Knysna Lourie or a Cape Clawless Otter!
