Then, immerse yourself in the breathtaking wildlife of the Greater Kruger National Park.
After 1 week in the North you get to experience the breathtaking wine region that tantalizes your taste buds with its culinary highlights and exceptional wines. After savoring the flavors, immerse yourself in an exhilarating whale watching adventure on the scenic shores of the Cape. Finally, wrap up your holiday in the vibrant city of Cape Town, known for its rich culture and stunning landscapes.

Days 1 & 2 - Johannesburg
On arrival at OR Tambo you will be met by a representative and transferred to your guesthouse only 5 minutes away from the airport. After the long flight we will leave the day to rest, have something to eat, enjoy the bar and entertainment area or enjoy a cooling swim in the spacious swimming pool.
The following day after breakfast you will be collected by your guide for the day and taken to the most famous township in Africa: Soweto. Together with a local guide you will explore all that Soweto has to offer on a Tuk Tuk Tour, and after a traditional lunch (included) you head towards the impressive Apartheid Museum. At the end of the day you are returned to your guesthouse.

Days 3, 4 & 5 - Timbavati
Your guesthouse will drive you back to the airport, where you collect your rental car (from the airport navigation is a lot easier) and head down into the Lowveld to Kruger National Park. Here you will spend your first three nights in the famous Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Each day you head out on two guided game drives in open 4x4 game viewers in search of not only the Big Five, but everything that makes the Great Circle of Life in the bushveld of Kruger so complex. Guided bush walks can be requested, as well as an overnight in their hide at the dam. All meals are included as well as local drinks.

Days 6, 7 & 8 - Balule
Your next three nights will be spent in another reserve, Balule Private Nature Reserve. This lovely and luxurious owner-run tented camp offers luxury camping (tents have en-suite bathrooms and even aircon!), home-style meals and a great vibe in which to celebrate all that the bush has to offer! Two guided game drives per day included, as well as meals.
The distance between the two camps being reasonably short (about 1,5 h drive) it is very interesting that both landscapes are completely different. So are the animal sightings so make sure to keep your camera ready at all times!

Days 9 & 10 - Wine Region
After the morning safari and a hearty breakfast you will drive to Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport and fly to Cape Town where you will pick up your next rental car.
From here you will take the short drive into the wine region to enjoy a guided tour with a wine maker the next day who will give you an insight into the wonderful wines South Africa produces.

Days 11 & 12 - Hermanus
Between July and the end of November several types of whales move along the south coast of South Africa to calve and nurse their young, and Hermanus is a particular hot spot where they come exceptionally close to the shore. Schulphoek lies on the Bay and your Scallop Suite has the most sensational views in Hermanus. If the whales are there, you will get to see them from your suite! The guesthouse also has an excellent restaurant and wine selection. A night of splashing out that will be worth it!
