Days 1 & 2 - Imbabala
Day 1: Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you are met and transferred to Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge. Imbalala is a small unpretentious safari lodge offering a true African Safari Experience on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.
Day 2: Early morning you will be taken on a game drive followed by a brunch at your lodge. After a well deserved rest you will have high tea in the afternoon before departing on a river safari.

Days 3 & 4 - Zambezi Canoe
Day 3: This morning you will go on another game drive followed by brunch at Imbalala. After this you will have some time to rest and around 16:00 you will be collected for your Upper Zambezi Canoeing Safari. The whole transfer will be another game drive through the Zambezi National Park until you arrive at the riverside camp. Upon arrival your guide will give you a thorough briefing which will cover conditions of the river and rapids, canoeing instruction, safety and general information.
Day 4: After a full English Breakfast in your camp you will be going on an hour game drive upstream to the put-in point of your canoes. The whole day is spent canoeing (about 18 km) downstream, running small grade one and to rapids, exploring channels and bird and game viewing. A picnic lunch is served on the mainland or an island. You will again overnight on the banks of the Zambezi.

Day 5 - Victoria Falls
A delightful English breakfast will be served in the morning after which you will board your canoes to paddle down another 18 km downstream to the mighty Victoria Falls. The rapids canoed today include the "Kandahar Rapids", the scenery, channels and rapids on both days are very different. Cold mineral water and beer are awaiting you at the end of your canoe safari.
Then you will be transferred the short distance to Victoria Falls to arrive at The Elephant Camp in the late afternoon where you will enjoy elephant interaction.

back home
After breakfast at The Elephant Camp you will be taken to a morning tour to the Victoria Falls. After this tour you will be brought back to the airport
