In this itinerary you stay in the Northern part of the country to explore the historical township Soweto and the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg before hitting the stunning panoramic route and going to the bush to find the legendary Yingwe and the other Big 5.

Days 1 & 2 - Johannesburg
On arrival at OR Tambo you will be picked up and transferred to your first accommodation which is less than 5 minutes drive from the airport. The first afternoon is at your disposal to settle in in South Africa and relax a little after the long flight.
For the second day you will go on a full day (8 hours) guided tour of Soweto and the Apartheid Museum to give you an insight into the fascinating history of South Africa.

Days 4, 5 & 6 - Hoedspruit
From Sabie you will make your way from the Highveld to the Lowveld via the stunning Panoramic Route. En route you will stop at the many beautiful sceneries like God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes or the Three Rondavels just to mention a few.
You will stay for three nights in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate which will give you a first taste of the bush. Restaurants and Shops in Town are a leisurely 10 minutes drive away.
During your stay you can book bicycle ride, quad biking, Moholoholo, Endangered Species Centre or a Blyde Dam cruise. We will be happy to assist with the booking.

Day 3 - Sabie
Today it is time to leave the city and finally get onto some scenery. Your rental car will be delivered to your guest house in the morning and then it is time to hit the road direction East where you will reach Sabie in roughly 4 hours. If you leave arund 10 you will still have time to enjoy the many waterfalls around Sabie the same day.
You will spend one night here and there are dinner options in town. Your guest house will be happy to assist.

Days 7, 8, 9 & 10 - Balule
After 3 nights in the Wildlife Estate and the first animal sighting you will have had it is time to go deeper into the bush. Since it only is a casual 30 minutes drive you can plan an activity for the morning or just rest at the pool this morning.
Around 2 pm you will be awaited at your stunning lodge where everything will be catered for. You will have 2 guided game drives a day and all meals are included so nothing to worry about and lots to enjoy!

Days 11 & 12 - Waterberg
In roughly 5 hours you drive to the Waterberg biosphere after the morning drive and breakfast. Even though it does not have the famous Big 5 you can still enjoy some great game viewing and stunning views.
Your lodge lies on a koppie and everywhere the views are stunning. Between the game drives you can treat yourself with some wellness or the culinary highlights that your lodge offers or simply relax after the exhausing days in the bush.

Day 13 - Back Home
Heading home in the afternoon, you can look back at an incredible adventure!
