A tour that shows you the beauty of Mole National Park and Kakum National Park as well as the interesting historical sites of Kumasi and the Cape Coast and Elmina Castles.

Day 1: Arrival in Accra

Since most airlines from overseas land in the evening, the activities will have to be nocturnal. A member of our Trouver Services crew will welcome you at Accra Kotoka Airport and bring you to your hotel and check you in. Further activities will be organized to your convenience and can consist of a dinner at your hotel, dinner at a restaurant of your choice and/or going to some of the many bars, pubs or nightclubs to get you an insight of Accra’s pulsing nightlife!


Day 2: Accra

After breakfast at your hotel you will be taken onto a sightseeing tour of Accra in the morning. After this you will have lunch at a beachside restaurant where you will have the possibility to try some of the local dishes as well as continental food for the less adventurous. In the afternoon your guide will be taking you to the Accra Art Center where you can buy souvenirs such as masks, carvings and traditional cloth. The rest of the afternoon will be free for other activities or you can simply cool down in your hotel’s swimming pool. In the evening you can again have dinner at your hotel or at a restaurant of your choice.


Days 3 & 4: Mole National Park

After breakfast at your guide will bring you to the airport. From there you will take a flight to Tamale in the north of the country. In Tamale a 4x4 car with your driver will be waiting for you and take you to Mole National Park which is about 3 hours from Tamale. In the National Park you can book several activities such as Game Drives, Game Walks, Night Drives, etc. A visit of the Larabanga Mud and Stick Mosque can be organized at any time.


Day 5: Kumasi

After breakfast at your hotel you will leave early morning to Kumasi. It is about 5 hours and on the way you will stop at Kintampo falls. In Kumasi you will visit the Kumasi Cultural Centre and the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, West Africa’s biggest market or the mystic Lake Bosumtwi. After checking in at your hotel you will have dinner at a restaurant of your choice and the possibility to experience the Kumasi nightlife.


Day 6: Cape Coast

In the morning you will be taken on the 4 hour drive to Cape Coast. Here you will be taken on a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Cape Coast Castle, one of the main hubs of the slave trade. After this visit you will be taken to your hotel to relax at the beach. Other activities can be organized to your convenience.


Day 7: Back to Accra

After breakfast you will be taken on the canopy walkway in Kakum National Park which will take you up to 40 m high into the tree tops of a tropical rainforest. A ranger will lead you and give you explanations about the ecosystem before you conquer the 7 bridges of the canopy walkway. From here you will continue to another UNESCO World Heritage Site the Elmina Castle. Despite it being close to Cape Coast Castle both Castles have their unique aspects and the guide will tell you the story of this other important slave trade hub. From here your journey will slowly come to an end and lead you back to Accra.
