Days 1 & 2 - Soutpansberge
On arrival at the airport in Johannesburg you make your way to the car rental terminal to collect your rental carand you hit the road to Louis Trichardt in the beautiful Soutpansbergen. Madi a Thavha offers genuine interactions with the Venda and Tsonga people. Over the last 8 years they have managed to establish sustainable working relationships with the local artists and communities.
What you will see and experience here is real life, not a re-enactment for the sake of tourism. You will be taken by real people to real people living in real villages doing real work to earn real money.
Day 7 - Panoramic Route
You will have a morning drive as well as breakfast, but then it's time to make your way into the Blyde River Canyon. On your way you can make a stop at the Three Rondavels, Bourke's Luck Potholes and God's Window, but the view from Porcupine Ridge is also not to be missed!
Days 3, 4, 5 & 6- Balule
From Louis Trichardt you make your way down into the Lowveld and into the private Greater Kruger National Park, where you will go on safari!! On a daily basis you will head out early in the morning and late in the afternoons, as well as at night, on guided game drives in open 4x4 game viewers or on foot.
Your experienced guide will not only help you search and identify animals, but also interpret your environment. You will overnight in large safari tents with en-suite bathroom facilities.

Day 8 - Ezulwini Valley
On your way to Kwazulu Natal it is worth your while to make a stop in Swaziland! Mvubu Falls is situated in the Ezulwini Valley and around the lodge you will find some beautiful walks.
It is also worth your while to make a reservation with Dolores, who can cook delicious Swazi food!

Days 9, 10 & 11 - St Lucia
Leaving Swaziland in the south takes you into northern Kwazulu Natal and St Lucia, although rather touristy, is a perfect location to explore the area.
Three nights here in a luxury room with breakfast included will probably still not be enough to see everything, but a good start would be a boat trip on the Lake (hippo's, crocs) as well as the ocean (dolphins and whales) and a visit to the nearby Cape Vidal or Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserves. There are also nice beaces around so plenty to do!
Days 12 & 13 - Drakensberge
A long day in the car today, but Royal Natal is worth it! The camp overlooks the famous Amphitheatre and it is here where you can do the spectacular Tugela Gorge walk if you're up for it!
If a 6-hour walk is too much for you, there are also plenty shorter walks to be done, and everywhere the scenery is simply breath taking!

Day 14- Back Home
It is about a 4 hour drive to the airport, so if you book an evening flight back, you can take it really easy!
